Position Description:
As the Sales Practice Leader you will be responsible for building and managing our middle market practice, selling to company clients with revenues ranging from sub-$50million to over $500million. As a member of the Business Solutions team you will be actively involved in setting and achieving personal targets as well as contributing to the future direction of the team.
We are looking for a self-motivated, heavily experienced, energetic person to prospect, sell and develop our client base. The ideal candidate will be experienced in using a consultative sales approach to generate and close new business opportunities within our target markets.
Responsibilities:
· Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
· Execute on your own account plans and quota objectives
· Identify, hire, train and manage great candidates to build out the middle market BD team
· Collaborate with the VP of Sales on sales campaigns driving new business
· Nurture existing relationships and drive repeat sales
· Maintain knowledge of the market and industry trends including competitors
Requirements:
· BA/BS is a requirement; MA/MS, MBA, or CPA a plus
· Minimum of 7 years experience in consultative B2B professional services selling;
· Superior listening skills combined with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to recognize value-add opportunities and offer creative solutions and close business
· Proven selling skills including probing, overcoming objections, and advocating solutions based on customer needs
· Creativity, intelligence, and problem solving aptitude and attitude;
· Dedication to providing the highest level of customer service
· Solid computer skills; full command of MS Office programs
· Hands-on CRM experience is a must.
· Experience in selling professional services to C - level management is a must
